Most healthcare organizations rely on the “grateful patient” philanthropy model. But with 88% of its patients living at or below the 100% poverty line, Chase Brexton needed a different fundraising strategy.

We built Hope Lives Here—an annual donor rewards program targeting 3 distinct community groups with a track record of giving: community members/families; community-based businesses; and Chase Brexton employees. The more donors give, the more rewards they earn.

Hope Lives Here secured enough donations to provide much-needed services—including medical and dental care; rent assistance; eyeglasses, groceries, and more—for 221 low-income patients in the program’s first year alone.
