Georgia Relay Featured in the Champion Newspaper

Client Georgia Relay made headlines yesterday when a story on their 2018 Deaf Community Leader Award winner, Pearlie Kemp-Murphy ran in the Champion Newspaper!

Pearlie is an advocate for the deaf community and has spent years working to improve communication conditions for those with hearing loss.

“What people don’t understand [is that] we listen with our eyes, we focus with our brains and move with our hands. We are parents, educators, lawyers and many more. We have the same talent and skills hearing people have, we are just deaf,” said Pearlie.
